Residential Compost Drop-offs Come to Boston!

Boston city officials have announced that three farmers’ markets in Boston will start collecting food scraps this month and convert them into compost as part of a pilot program. This free, three-month pilot comes at the heels of community feedback and will help the city determine the future of composting in Boston.
