Honoring Harvard’s Brave

On Monday, 100 HUPD employees and their family members attended a ceremony at the Charles Hotel honoring members of the Harvard Police Department and Securitas for their brave and selfless work during the Boston Marathon bombings.  Harvard President Drew Faust graciously thanked the officers and stated “You are teachers too.” “You teach us with the model of your behavior. And this year, you taught us what it means to serve, what it means to have courage, what it means to take risks, and what it means to support others.”
