HUECU Celebrates 74 Years

On June 26th, the Harvard University Employees Credit Union celebrated 74 years of service.  In May of 1939, a dozen Harvard Employees, representing various University Departments, met to plan a Credit Union.  The University was a natural choice for a credit union, and the Board of Directors set out to service the members by encouraging savings and provide them with low-cost loans.

74 years later, the originating purpose of the credit union remains the same: to provide members with a complete line of services for all their financial needs.  Thanks to the support of our membership, the Credit Union continues to experience remarkable growth.  We thank all of our members for their 74 years of trust and dedication to the Credit Union.
