Last year, working with the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s charitable partner, the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless in Lynn, HUECU was one of 40 credit unions who collected children’s books and distributed them to many nonprofit agencies in cities and communities throughout the state.
HUECU’s goal this year is to collect 1,000 books!
Stop by one of our branch locations during the month of April and drop off any new or used children’s book in the Penguin bin - look for the entry forms and raffle drums.
To show our appreciation, for every book you donate, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card. The more books you donate the more hours of imagination and learning you give to a child.
